Currently available to see patients Monday through Friday, Dr. Alex brings experience and knowledge to his practice. Originally from Chicago, IL, he earned his undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Alex achieved his Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO). He gained academic and ethical excellence recognition through memberships in the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and the Tomb and Key Honor Society at ICO.
Dr. Alex's commitment to enriching his education led him to complete internships nationwide, including rotations at the William Chappel Veterans Affairs Clinic in Daytona Beach, FL, Ochsner Clinic in Metairie, LA, a private practice in Westmont, IL, and the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, IL. With six years of full-scope optometry practice in the Chicago suburbs, he brings a comprehensive understanding of eye care to his patients, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
Holding licenses in both Illinois and Tennessee, Dr. Alex specializes in glaucoma, diabetic eye care, and retinal disease.
